Lifetime Moving & Storage was inspired and shaped by Bob, a moving industry veteran who spent decades learning how to do the job right. His standard was simple: treat every customer’s belongings with the same care you would give your own, and be honest about every part of the process. That standard has not changed.

Today the company is owned by Lauren, who runs it alongside Shawn on the operations side. It is a family-run business, directly accountable to every customer it serves, and that accountability is the reason Scottsdale homeowners keep calling us back for second and third moves.

We have moved generations of Arizona residents, from first-time condo buyers in Old Town to families relocating out of North Scottsdale estates. A move is more than a logistical task. It is a major life transition, and the team handling it should have a direct stake in how it goes.

What Moving in Scottsdale Actually Involves

Scottsdale is not one moving market. It is several, and a crew that treats them the same way will run into trouble.

Old Town and the Downtown corridor are dense. Many buildings load from the alley rather than the street, elevator reservations are required, and street parking near Scottsdale Road and Camelback fills early. We confirm loading access and book elevator time before we schedule the crew, not on the morning of the move.

North Scottsdale is the opposite problem. Communities like DC Ranch, Silverleaf, Troon North, and Grayhawk are gated, which means crew names and vehicle information have to clear the guard gate in advance. Long private driveways affect where the truck can stage and how far the carry runs. We handle the gate paperwork as part of the booking.

Established HOA communities including McCormick Ranch, Gainey Ranch, and Scottsdale Ranch set their own move-in and move-out windows, and some restrict weekend work entirely. We check those rules against your date before confirming anything.

Then there is timing. Scottsdale runs on a seasonal calendar. Demand climbs from October through April as seasonal residents arrive and again in late spring as they leave. If your move falls in that window, book earlier than you think you need to.

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking two to four weeks ahead of your move date. Spring and fall are our busiest seasons, so earlier is better during those months. Contact us and we will do our best to accommodate your timeline.
